Lisa Clark received her Master
of Arts degree in Medical Illustration from the UT
Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, where
she also worked as an illustrator for the Department
of Medical Illustration Services. She attended the undergraduate
program at Otis Parsons Art Institute in Los Angeles,
California. In 1991 she received a Bachelor of Science
degree from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
Lisa worked as a medical illustrator and digital strategies
project manager for the American Heart Association.
She founded Clark Medical Illustration in 1997.
Lisa's background includes
experience in medical and scientific illustration for
patient and professional education, advertising, web
and interactive media design.
Lisa is a professional member
of the
Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). In over
10 years of professional experience she has won many
awards and honors, including a Vesalius Trust Research
Grant in 1996. She recently received an Award of Excellence
in Advertising from the AMI annual salon in 2002.
